feudal mound
and Mahuet Tower

An interesting 11th-century feudal motte (listed as a historical monument) built on a site where human presence is attested as early as the 1st century AD. Nearby, opposite the Church of St. Gorgon (1837), the 13th-century "Mahuet Tower," the former keep of the castle, now houses an art gallery. Exhibitions are held in the tower throughout the year. The 16th-century Colombier Farm (private) is also located here. A military cemetery (1915) contains the graves of 1,695 soldiers of various nationalities.
