Reopening of the Cité des Paysages: the 2026 season program
From March 28th, the Cité des paysages (City of Landscapes) reopens its exhibition spaces and launches the season on the hill of Sion. An emblematic space of the Meurthe-et-Moselle Department dedicated to biodiversity and ecological transition, it offers this year a rich program of 150 events inviting us to see our landscapes in a new light.
Exhibition spaces will reopen on March 28 and 29.
The exhibition spaces of the Cité des paysages reopen to the general public on the weekend of March 28 and 29. This first event highlights the flagship temporary exhibition : "Our Footprints, the History of Sion Revealed by Archaeology".
The official season launch is on April 12th.
The official launch of the events season is scheduled for Sunday, April 12th . To celebrate the return of warmer weather, a convivial atmosphere will be in the spotlight with the show "95% Mortal" by Cie du Coin, a quirky musical and festive event.
A program for all audiences
With nearly 150 events spread across 40 themed days , the 2026 season promises to be more extensive than ever. Educational workshops , conferences , shows , and guided hikes : the program has been designed for all ages and all interests.
A rich program that shines on the Hill of Sion but also on all the Sensitive Natural Areas (ENS) of the department, to be discovered until November 29.

A protected site
The Sion-Vaudémont hill is one of the 164 sensitive natural areas (ENS) in the department. It is also classified as a Natura 2000 site, whose objective is to preserve biodiversity on a European scale.
