view from Zion Hill

Zion Hill, our little paradise

Magnetic, the hill of Sion is a unique site in Meurthe-et-Moselle. Why? Perhaps because there are star-shaped fossils there – the stem of the “sea lilies” – dating from the time when the sea covered the territory, 200 million years ago. Perhaps also because the view extends 360° over the entire Saintois. Perhaps also because Notre-Dame de Sion, a religious congregation, was founded there in 1843. Also visit the Cité des Paysages to learn more about biodiversity.
