In Rozelieures, in the heart of immense mirabelle plum orchards, the Grallet-Dupic family distillery showcases Lorraine's yellow gold in a dedicated space: the Maison de la Mirabelle.
A unique site in Meurthe-et-Moselle, the Maison de la Mirabelle helps promote and showcase the fruit and its terroir. History, production, and orchard management: a freely accessible educational space allows visitors to discover all the secrets of the mirabelle plum. At the heart of the distillery, the still room is transformed into a sound and light show that immerses visitors in a story of the history of distillation in Lorraine. The site also houses a tasting room where you can enjoy some mirabelle-based products after your visit.
Other activities such as cocktail workshops or walks in the orchards are also offered.
Producer-harvester and distiller, the Grallet-Dupic family has been working with this small yellow fruit since 1890. Today, it offers numerous mirabelle plum-based products, including eaux-de-vie, liqueurs, and even 100% Lorraine whiskies!
