Designed by architects Giovanni Betto, Jules Hardouin-Mansart, and Germain Boffrand, it was built in the early 18th century, during the reigns of Dukes Leopold and Stanislas. It features wrought-iron gates crafted by the workshops of Jean Lamour, a dome painted by Claude Jacquard, and a listed organ. It also houses paintings from the Lorraine School of the 17th and 18th centuries. Originally a primatial church, it became a cathedral after the establishment of a bishopric in Nancy in 1777. During school holidays, please note that opening hours from Monday to Saturday are extended to 10:00 AM.
