Madame de Graffigny's castle is in the heart of the old village. It is a beautiful 18th century mansion, renovated in 1865, set in a garden enclosed by high walls (inside, beautiful listed Nancy School fireplace). Property of the town of Villers les Nancy, it hosts receptions and temporary exhibitions (times to be consulted on the Villers town website depending on the events). In the garden, there are two cedars of Lebanon planted by Mathieu de Dombasle in the 19th century. Its park hosts the grape harvest festivals at the beginning of September. The name of the castle recalls its most illustrious owner, Françoise d'Apponcourt, wife of Graffigny, a woman of letters who maintained a regular correspondence with Voltaire and Diderot.
