Witness to a new generation of work, the defensive organization of the Villey-Saint-Etienne forest presents the ultimate evolution of this fortification. This defense is centered around the Fort du Vieux Canton, the only modern fort in the Toul area, built in reinforced concrete. The Villey-Saint-Etienne forest is a true conservatory of the fortification. Patiently cleared of vegetation, the site today offers a pleasant walk on a marked and informed route. Signs and leaflets allow you to discover at your leisure. INDIVIDUAL GUIDED TOURS From March to November: the first Sunday of each month without reservation.
