The Blue Way cycle route – Moselle-Saône by bike

Discover the Grand Est region by bike in slow motion!

The Blue Way, Moselle-Saône by bike (registered in the national cycling plan under the code V50), is a cycle route going from the Luxembourg border to Lyon over 700 km. From the North to the South of France, this cycle route is particularly essential for connecting Northern Europe to the Mediterranean. The route takes you along along the Moselle before continuing along the Vosges Canal, and follows the Saône to the city of Gones. In Lyon, the ViaRhôna (EuroVelo 17) encourages you to continue your route to the sea.

The Blue Route voted "Cycling Route of the Year" 2026!

On February 13, 2026, at the Fiets en Wandelbeurs trade fair in Utrecht (Netherlands), the Blue Route was awarded in particular for the quality of its infrastructure, the numerous points of interest along the route and the easy access to public transport.
