The Vosges mountains have preserved significant traces of the First World War. This center, dedicated to history buffs and the curious alike, boasts a significant collection of objects and documents, permanent and temporary exhibitions, cultural events, conferences, and a large collection of weapons, uniforms, equipment, and documents from the Great War. This collection of military artifacts is housed in a house that belonged to Charles Cartier Bresson, mayor of Celles-sur-Plaine during the First World War. Groups can visit year-round by reservation.
